Corageous futurist Tiina Heikka joins Valo's development team.

Former mayor, current organizational shaman & mentor Tiina Heikka wants to spread courage and faith in the future into organizations. Tiina is involved in developing dramatic methods based on Valo's future data bank. Something memorable to come out of this!

Who are you

I'm Tiina Heikka, an entrepreneur, mother and a countrywoman. I have previously worked in the municipality sector and started my own business in the beginning of 2022.

You have been in a variety of positions building a vision for the future. What fascinating or challenging do you see ahead? And which one more?

I am excited about my entrepreneurship, where I get to combine my skills and help people in a new way. My prospects for the future are bright, because anything good can happen at any time.

You will be the mayor of Lapinjärvi in ​​2014–2021. What does the future of municipalities look like?

The municipal field is undergoing a major change as social and health services take over the responsibility for organizing welfare areas. Now is the time to reinvent the municipality. Municipalities that are capable of renewal and open-minded will thrive well.

What connected you to Valo Future?

Tiita and I were in the same Sitra's Future Shapers development group, where the tool called Future Frequency was made.

What's coming up next?

I want to combine creativity, future competence and people-oriented development of organizations. As a drama director, my fingers scurry for future work through drama. Dramatic methods provide more ways to imagine the future with Valo Future’s future knowledge.
